The concept for our outdoor cinema line originated from a specific request from a 60m motoryacht. Traditional movie set-ups on deck often rely on heavy, massive frames that are difficult to carry and store. This presented an opportunity for the Tec Wire team to apply their expertise into a lightweighted carbon fibre alternative.
Following this initial project, we have successfully implemented this solution on several other vessels, each with unique specifications.

The core of the assembly consists of carbon fibre poles. These provide the stiffness needed to keep the screen tensioned, while remaining light enough for the crew to handle.
Every frame is built to order. The system can be installed in between existing sun awning poles or an entirely new structure can be created.
When not in use, the deck remains safe and clear since our covers sit flush with the teak or bulwark.
